To be judged at the AGM by the members who attend on 27/11/21 at the Simon Langton Boys School, Canterbury.
Bring your entries to the hall before 1:30pm so it can be displayed before the start of the meeting at 2 pm.  

This year’s challenge:

is to use the fabric selected by last year’s winner, Liz Coleman.

Angie has offered to sell to Oast Members for £3.50 per Fat
Quarter (plus p&p). You might be able to get it cheaper
elsewhere, but Liz is keen that we should try and purchase
from local shops for this Challenge fabric in particular.

The Oast Showcase will be 22 – 24 July 2022 

 

 

OAST SHOWCASE CHALLENGE 

The challenge for the 2022 Showcase is 20 x 20  

This was going to be the challenge for 2020, but as we all know a pandemic stopped just about everything…

We have carried over the challenge to our new showcase dates for 2022  

The challenge is:

 Create a quiltlet exactly 20” x 20”; the subject of the quiltlet is yours.

 Challenge – closing date is 30.05.2022

The previous year’s winner, Gill Cannon, challenged our 
Oast Quilters to make a quilted item referencing ‘Twists & Turns’.

Oast Quilters were very proud to have raised a significant sum at the 2016 Oast Showcase which allowed us to present cheques to three local Charities.  Headway, a charity that supports those with an aquired head injury, CLAPA (Hair Lip and Cleft Palate Assocation) and EKUBS, a breast screening support charity.  Presentations were made at Oast Open Meeting  on 24th September, 2016
